The highly sought after Clad Proof Eisenhower Dollar is a remarkable piece from American mint history. The Eisenhower Dollar was struck to celebrate Dwight D. Eisenhower, who died in 1969, and the Apollo 11 moon landing of the same year. It was minted for only a seven year period.
Stamped with 1973 the year of its production.
Coin is a Clad Proof, and would make a great addition to any coin collection.
The Eisenhower Dollar is a $1 coin issued by the United States government from 1971–1978. The coins were often saved as mementos of Eisenhower and never saw much circulation outside of casinos. Special Bicentennial issues were minted in 1975 and 1976.

About photos: In an effort to show more detail to the user, photos of jewelry and other items are enlarged. Please use written description for actual dimensions. Please note in order to keep handling costs down that would otherwise be paid by users, the photos of Coins and Currency may be stock photos and not of that exact piece up for auction. Mint marks may be different from the photo. Sometimes the description will note a range of years of issue and or condition, which means you will get a coin or currency item that falls within that range.
